Hi! I’m Dr. Dave, Teddy’s dad from Long Island, NY. I’ve been a primary care companion animal veterinarian for 43 years. I have had my own practice in Long Island since 1992.

 My practice was unique in that we practiced quality veterinary medicine, provided pet related services, and was greatly involved with a broad array of community service before I left in the Fall of 2025. 

But I am NOT ready to leave veterinary medicine. I love talking to people about their pets and advising them about pet matters. I know how much fur babies means to people.

So I am trying something that I believe is unique – an online pet care site run by an experienced and award-winning veterinarian. I will answer questions and point you in the right direction to the best of my ability. Think of it as a “Dear Abby” service but for dogs and cats.
